A one of a kind round glass pendant  handmade using the decoupage technique and a luxurious Japanese chiyogami floral paper.

This design has a pink/magenta blackground with small white flowers and tiny gold accents.

The back of the pendant has been varnished using a non toxic glaze to seal and protect the paper. This makes the pendant moisture resistant, however, it is not waterproof so it is advisable to remove the pendant before swimming or showering.

This glass pendant measures approximately 25mm x 32mm, including the silver plated bail.

This Chiyogami glass pendant is supplied on an adjustable black faux suede cord inside a black gift box.

Decoupage is the creative technique of decorating an object with cut-outs of paper which are then coated with several layers of varnish to seal and protect them.

Most people associate decoupage with furniture or pottery, but this technique can be effectively used to decorate glass and create some very lovely pieces of jewellery and accessories.
